Your Dog Travels
First Class
Safety-tested crates, individual spaces and air control vent for every journey.
Most dogs spend more time travelling to their walk than they realise. We believe that journey should be as comfortable, safe and stress-free as the walk itself. Our dedicated VIPDOGS fleet is purpose-built around the needs of dogs, not repurposed from a people carrier or a regular van.
Every VIPDOGS journey is a direct door-to-door collection and return. No unnecessary stops, no extended transit times, no shared spaces.
We Designed Our Fleet Around Dogs, Not Around Convenience
When most dog walking services collect a dog, that dog goes into the back of a personal car — often unrestrained, sometimes alongside unfamiliar dogs in a shared space, with no dedicated ventilation and no crash-tested containment. VIPDOGS operates differently at every step of the transport process.
Roof-Mounted Ventilation System
The VIPDOGS fleet is fitted with a dedicated roof-mounted air vent fan on the transport compartment that ensures continuous fresh air circulation around every crate during transit. This is a critical safety and comfort feature because temperature regulation during transport is one of the most serious welfare concerns for dogs travelling in enclosed vehicles. The VIPDOGS ventilation system means that even on warmer days the transport compartment maintains comfortable air circulation and dogs are never at risk of heat stress during a journey.
Individual Crash-Tested Travel Crates
Every dog in the VIPDOGS fleet travels in their own individual hard-plastic anti-shatter crate — not a wire cage or a shared pen. These crates are constructed from heavy-duty plastic with stainless steel doors and have been tested to the same crash-resistance methodology used for baby car seats, meaning they are designed to contain and protect a dog in the event of sudden braking or a collision rather than simply keeping them in one place under normal driving conditions. The solid plastic construction means dogs naturally feel more secure and calm in transit because the enclosed space mimics the denning instinct that dogs have by nature, reducing travel anxiety significantly compared to open wire crates.
Fresh Water Available Throughout Every Journey
Fresh clean water is available to every dog throughout their transit time with VIPDOGS, whether that is a five-minute journey around the corner or a longer trip to a walking location. Hydration during transport is particularly important for dogs who may be excited or slightly anxious at the start of a journey, and the VIPDOGS team checks on every dog during transit stops to ensure all animals are comfortable, settled and well.

Veterinary Bedding in Every Crate
Every crate in the VIPDOGS fleet is lined with high-quality veterinary bedding that prevents dogs from sliding around during the journey, provides cushioning on longer transit routes, and can be easily cleaned and replaced to maintain a hygienic environment for every dog that uses it. The combination of the solid plastic crate walls, the non-slip bedding and the familiar smell of the bedding from previous journeys means most dogs settle quickly and travel calmly even on their very first journey with the VIPDOGS team.

"We do not cut corners on transport because we know that for many dogs, the journey is the most stressful part of the day. Our job is to make it the least stressful part instead."

Meet the VIPDOGS Fleet
The VIPDOGS fleet was designed to be as recognisable on the streets of Newton Mearns as it is safe and comfortable for the dogs inside it. The distinctive white and gold livery, the large dog silhouette on the rear panel, and the EAT WALK SLEEP REPEAT tagline are not just visual choices — they are a statement of intent.
