An All-Inclusive Wedding Day Experience for Your Dog
Many couples dream of including their dog in their wedding but feel unsure about how to make it work logistically — whether the venue will allow it, who will look after the dog during the ceremony, and what happens when the celebration goes on late into the evening.
VIPDOGS exists to answer every single one of those questions and to take complete ownership of every aspect of the dog's involvement in the day, from the moment we collect them in the morning to the moment we return them safely at the end of the evening. You focus entirely on each other. We handle everything else.
Meet and Greet Before the Day
Every wedding engagement begins with a pre-wedding meeting between the VIPDOGS team and the dog — ideally at the wedding venue or in the dog's home environment — to ensure the dog is comfortable with us before the big day, to discuss the couple's specific wishes and expectations, and to agree the dog's role and schedule for the wedding. This meeting is included in every package.
Dressing and Accessory Styling
The VIPDOGS team will dress the dog in their chosen accessories — whether that is a floral collar, a bow tie, a ribbon, or a full ring-bearer harness — and if a dress rehearsal would help, we can arrange that in advance so everyone knows the dog is comfortable in their outfit before the day itself.
Collection and Transport to the Venue
On the wedding morning the VIPDOGS team collects the dog from their home or wherever they are staying and transports them to the venue in the purpose-built VIPDOGS fleet, in their own individual crash-tested travel crate, arriving calm, clean and ready for their starring role.
Photography Collaboration
The VIPDOGS team will work directly with the couple's photographer to help capture the most natural and joyful moments involving the dog throughout the day, whether that is walking down the aisle, sitting with the wedding party for formal portraits, or simply being their wonderful, photogenic self.
Pre-Ceremony Exercise and Preparation
Depending on the dog's energy level and temperament, the VIPDOGS team will either walk the dog on the venue grounds or take them for a walk at a nearby location before the ceremony begins, ensuring they arrive at the ceremony settled, calm and looking their absolute best.
Evening Care and Overnight Options
At the agreed time the VIPDOGS team will leave the wedding venue with the dog and either return them to their home or have them stay overnight in a familiar VIPDOGS boarding environment, fed, walked and kept to their normal routine so they wake up the next morning happy and comfortable.
